Golf

Along the right bank of the Agri river, the international (18 holes) golf course has been planned with a naturalistic route where the main components are again the Mediterranean pine-wood and the water in the shapes it takes. Designed by P.B. Dye, the Marinagri golf course will uses the natural environment to give each hole its challenge and beauty. While playing golf, our guests will experience a memorable ecological tour through the Mediterranean wood with the pleasant distraction arising from the Agri river or the Ionian sea. Climate allows playing golf all year long.

The Club House has been designed as a “lounge – bar” and is placed in the vicinity of the seawater inlet channel of the tourist complex, which is one of the natural boundaries of the course. The design of the Club House aims at the natural integration, minimum environmental impact and is respectful of the natural orography. The shape of the building is a “Golf club” in order to guarantee, in this particular era of web applications like Google Maps, a great visibility to the Marinagri Golf Course.

The project of the golf course has been approved with regional and municipal authorization n.22558 of December 15th 2015.

Construction of the course is scheduled during 2017.
